Our beliefs

The Bible
We believe that the sixty-six books of the Bible, composed of the Tenach (Old Testament) and the Apostolic Writings of the New Covenant (New Testament), is the only infallible and authoritative Word of God. We believe the Bible is the final authority for all we believe and how we are to live. 2 Ti 3:15-17; Rom 15:4; 2 Pt 1:19-21; Heb 4:2; Eph 6:17

God Is One
We believe that the one true God exists eternally in three persons—Father, Son and Holy Spirit—and that these, being one God, are equal in deity, power and glory. We believe that God not only created the world but also now upholds, sustains, governs and providentially directs all that exists and that He will bring all things together in Jesus Christ to the glory of His name. Deut 6:4; Isa 48:16-17; 1 John 5:7-13. 1 Chon 29:10-15, Ps 104, Ps 139, Mt 10:29-31, Eph 1:9-12, Col 1:16-17, Heb 1:1-3

Deity of Jesus
We believe in the Deity of Jesus, the Messiah. We believe that Jesus is God incarnate, fully God and fully man; that He was conceived and born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, and offered Himself as a sacrifice for sinners. By His blood shed at the cross, He obtained for us eternal redemption, the forgiveness of sins and life everlasting. He was raised bodily on the third day and ascended to the right hand of the Father, there to make intercession for the saints forever. We believe that Jesus will return for His followers (The Bride), both the living and the dead and He will establish His kingdom on earth. Ge 3:15; Isa 7:14; Isa 9:6-7; Isa 53:8-11; Zech 12:6-10; Zech 14:16-2; Mt 1:22-23, Jn 1:1-18, Rom 8:34, 1 Cor 11:26; 2 Cor 5:21; Eph 1:7; Col 1:15-23; 1 Pet 2:21-25; I Jn 2:1-2

Saved By Grace
We believe that salvation is by grace, through faith in the shed sacrificial blood of the Lamb of God, Jesus Christ, and that regeneration by the Spirit of God is absolutely essential for personal salvation. We believe that no ordinance, ritual, work or any other activity on the part of man is required or accepted in order to be saved. We believe that the saving grace of God, through the power of the Holy Spirit, also sanctifies us by enabling us both to will and do of His good pleasure. We believe that the grace of God is at work in His followers to progressively conform us to the image of Jesus. Lev 17:11; Eph 2:8-10; Rom 1:17; Hab 2:4; Jn 3:3; Heb 11:6; Gen 15:6; Phil 2:12-13; Titus 3:3-7; Rom 8:29-30

Holy Spirit
We believe that Jesus baptizes believers in the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the believer is enabled to live a supernatural life. We believe that the Holy Spirit regenerates, forever indwells, seals and empowers the believer for godly living and service. We also believe that signs and wonders, as well as all the gifts of the Spirit described in the New Testament, are operative today and are given to testify to the presence of the Kingdom and to empower and edify the Church to fulfill its calling and mission. Jer 31:31-34; Mk 16:17-18; Jn 14:15-17; Gal 5:13-25; Acts 2:1-4; Acts 4:29-30, Rom 8:26; 1 Cor 12:12-13; Eph 1:13-14,5:18

Israel
We believe that the return of the Jews to the Land, and the establishment of the state of Israel in 1948 is a fulfillment of Biblical prophecy. We believe that God’s is not finished with the Jewish people, that the church has not replaced Israel and that His covenant with them and with the Land is an everlasting one. Gen 15:8; Gen 17:7-8; Ezek 36:24-28; Rom 9-11, Acts 1:6-7; Rev 7:5-8

The Body of Christ
We believe the New Covenant body of Christ (The Church) is composed of both Jews and Gentiles who have accepted Jesus as the promised Redeemer. We believe that the Body of Messiah is God’s primary instrument through which He is fulfilling His redemptive purposes in the earth.

  • Five-fold Ministry Gifts:  We believe that God has given the Body of Christ apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers to equip the saints for the work of ministry.
  • The Priesthood of Believers:  We also affirm the priesthood of all believers and the importance of every follower of Jesus being joined with and actively involved in a local community of believers.
  • Women in Ministry:  We believe that women, no less than men, are called and gifted to proclaim the Gospel and do all the works of the Kingdom.
  • Preaching the Gospel of Jesus:  We believe that God has called the Body of Christ to preach the gospel to all nations, to the Jew first, to especially remember the poor and to minister to their needs through sacrificial giving and practical service. Mt 16:17-19; Mk 16:15-18; Rom 1:16; 1 Corinthians 12:13; Hebrews 10:23-25; Ephesians 3:6,10-12, 4:11-13; Gal 3:26-29; 1 Pet 2:4-5,9-10

Return of Jesus
We believe in the literal Second Coming of Jesus at the end of the age when He will return to earth personally and visibly to establish His Kingdom. We believe that the Body of Christ will go through the Great Tribulation in great power and victory. We believe that the Body of Christ will be raptured at the end of the Great Tribulation. We also believe there will be a great end–time harvest of souls and the emergence of a victorious Church that will experience an unprecedented unity, purity and power in the Holy Spirit.
